Foundation Announces Arts Initiative

Attend Bidders Conference on January 21st or 22nd

Arts organizations now more than ever need a boost in supporting their artistry and vital role in our community. With support from the James Irvine Foundation, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation is launching its Advancing Sacramento Arts initiative, which in its first phase will be composed of grantmaking to small and medium sized arts organizations, and hosting a workshop series on capacity development for a small group of arts leaders in the region. Be a part of this exciting new initiative!

Please attend one of two sessions: Located at Restaurant Sofia, 11th and H Sts., in Sacramento for both sessions; Wednesday January 21st from 6-7:30pm or Thursday January 22nd from 4:00-5:30pm to learn more about this initiative which will engage and support one of the greatest jewels in the Sacramento region: ART.

Attendance is first come, first serve and only limited to small and medium sized arts organizations. Information and background about the initiative and application guidelines will  be distributed at the conference.
