Community Endowment Funds
When you make a gift of any size to the Community Endowment Fund, you can address a broad range of local needs—including needs that often cannot be anticipated at the time your gift is made. There is a real need for flexible, unrestricted funds to respond quickly to local needs.
Community Endowment Funds allows the Foundation board and program staff to respond to the community’s most pressing needs, today and tomorrow. Give gifts of any amounts to:
Community's Greatest Need
Friends of the Foundation
Arts & Culture
Children & Youth
Education
Environment
Health & Wellness
Neighborhood Development
Poverty & Human Assistance
Seniors
Youth Philanthropy
You may give your gift immediately or through your will or other estate planning strategy. Endowed gifts become a permanent community funding resource.
Name a fund: With a modest size gift, you can add to the support of the Community Endowment Funds with a fund that you name after your family, business, or a loved one. You choose a category and get the recognition now and forever. Our Program experts make grant recommendations that respond to community needs.
Create a new funding area: You don’t see the funding area you’d like to support? With a modest size gift, you can establish a new funding area. Program staff send out annual grants to support local nonprofit organizations in your name.
Memorial fund: Remember a loved one, now and forever, by supporting one of the Community Endowment Funds.
You are helping to catalyze change and fund innovative solutions to the region’s most challenging problems.
Donations can be made in cash, stock, real estate, or through your will or trust. Contributors through wills or other estate planning gifts become part of the Legacy Society. Contact Shirlee Tully, Chief Marketing and Development Officer for more information at 916-921-7723 or shirlee@sacregcf.org.
